Sometimes you just want the ease of dressing like a guy, am I right?
No frills, no heels, no fuss. Just basics and comfort at the helm.
This look couldn't be easier and doesn't have to mean frumpy. And the best part is, you likely already have most of these basics in your closet!
Start with a simple white top - think a crisp, collared oxford or a soft crew-neck tee
Add your favorite pair of broken-in denim - I opt for skinny jeans so you don't hide your curves, but boyfriend jeans work too!
A cozy slouchy boyfriend sweater worn loosely around your neck or even tied around your waist (my favorite 90's grunge look) is key.
Next look for tomboy accessories with feminine touches if that makes sense.
I just picked up that oversized silk bandana scarf which is a fun play on the original. Fold it up and tie it around your neck or wear it cowboy style.
Krewe sunglasses are a newly discovered line for me, and I am officially obsessed. Pick a pair that stays within your color scheme as I've done above with the blue lenses and tortoise frames.
This J.Crew mini bucket bag is a perfect addition for this look. Skip all of the pockets, zips, straps and chains and drop all of your belongings into the bucket!
Lastly, and maybe most importantly, you need a comfortable pair of flat shoes. I am all about a tomboy sneaker as I've pictured above. I also have these and love this pair.
How do you work a tomboy look?
